World Cup Watch Parties Are Back in the Soccer Capital of America!
Kansas City Current, Sporting Kansas City and Kansas City Power & Light District are partnering to host official 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup watch parties! Watch parties will be hosted at KC Live! Block. Fans of all ages are welcome to cheer on their country in the Soccer Capital of America!
Admission tickets are FREE and available to reserve now! Entry to events will be on a first-come, first-serve basis until venue capacity has been reached. Due to expected high demand, ticket holders are advised to arrive early! Ticket holders may not be guaranteed admission.

All ages allowed - families welcome. Please note that after 9PM, ages 21+ are only allowed to enter the KC Live! area – those who have already entered the KC Live! area (any age) before 9PM can remain in the area for the duration of the match.
PARKING INFORMATION
Parking is available at the KC Live! garage with event rates posted at entry. Parking rates subject to change. Attendees are also encouraged to ride the KC Streetcar to the KC Power & Light stop at 14th & Main. Additionally, RideKC busses are zero fare with routes servicing downtown from park & ride locations across the metro.

There will be one entrance into the KC Live! area located on Walnut Street. Doors to KC Live! will open 90 minutes before kickoff. Re-entry will be allowed only if capacity has not been reached in the KC Live! area. Plan to arrive early!

Taking place quadrennially, this year’s Women’s World Cup features an expanded field of 32 teams. The competition’s back-to-back champions, the United States has won four of the eight all-time Women’s World Cup tournaments and was drawn into Group E along with 2019 Women’s World Cup runners-up Netherlands as well as World Cup debutantes Vietnam and Portugal.
Vlatko Andonovski, a Kansas City resident and graduate of Park University, became head coach of the U.S. Women’s National Team at the end of 2019 and will lead the United States at a World Cup for the first time this summer. Andonovski won two NWSL championships in KC during his five seasons as head coach of FC Kansas City from 2013-2017 in addition to being a past player and coach for the Kansas City Comets.
Andonovski has named a 23-player roster for the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup highlighted by nine players from the team that won the tournament four years ago and 14 players for whom this will be their first World Cup. Alex Morgan, Megan Rapinoe and Kelley O’Hara were chosen to their fourth World Cup roster, while Alyssa Naeher and Julie Ertz were selected for a third consecutive World Cup.
