In the Community
In partnership with Bank of America and CPKC we officially opened the new STEM Lab at East High School.
A new mini-pitch is now open at Banneker Elementary School which marks our first school site location!
Alongside the Black Women's Player Collective and Black Players For Change, these mini-pitches on KC’s East Side will serve as a safe place for local youth to play the greatest game.

KC Current players Cassie Miller, Addisyn Merrick and Izzy Rodriguez visited the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum to learn more about elevating women's sports from NLBM President, Bob Kendrick.
KC Current front office staff walked in the 2023 KC Pride Parade, showing love and support to all in our community.
Ahead of Mother's Day, we teamed up with Happy Bottoms , a nonprofit that helps to provide diapers for families in need, wrapping 23,825 diapers.

We surprised Youth R.I.S.E., a nonprofit that empowers youth and teaches life lessons through mentorship, education, and sport, with the transportation access they needed.
Morgan Gautrat and Vanessa DiBernardo joined YMCA of Greater Kansas City's Challenger Practice.
We partnered with the Heartland Black Chamber to highlight Black-owned businesses right here in Kansas City.
KC Current players and front office staff volunteered on MLK Day at YMCA of Greater Kansas City.
To celebrate our club's two year anniversary we hosted a day of service for Saint Luke's and Variety KC's kids.
KC Current players teamed up with Canadian Pacific and Union Station to collect food for Harvesters Community Food Network.
We teamed up with Boulevard Brewing Company to donate $5,735 to WIN for KC as part of the 10% give back commitment from Teal Rising Proud Pilsner.
KC Current, Global FC Win 2022 Nationwide Community Impact Award. Global FC received $25,000 to support their organization’s efforts.
We teamed up with Brittany Mahomes and 15 and The Mahomies Foundation to show our support for incredible schools around our city.
KC Current teams up with AD Franch, Blue KC and The Giving Grove to plant orchards and provide fresh fruits, berries and nuts during Hunger Action Month.
KC Current worked with Make-A-Wish to surprise Ellie with new uniforms for each girls team at her school and honoring her at our game.
