Pride Pack

• KC Current Pride Pack includes Ticket and Pride Fanny Pack with the option to purchase additional packs and individual tickets in the same transaction.
• A portion of your Pride Pack purchase will fund KC Care Health Center and Our Spot KC - both nonprofits supporting the LGBTQ+ community in the Kansas City area.

Pride Night Beneficiaries

• KC CARE Health Center provides quality care, access, research and education to the underserved and all people in the community with the promise of dignity and personalized care. In addition, KC CARE offers gender-affirming primary care and hormone therapy. Behavioral health services and referrals to specialists, such as endocrinologists are also available. KC CARE providers and nurses can assist with legal paperwork for gender marker and name changes. As another level of support, KC CARE assists with writing letters in support of gender-affirming surgeries.
• Our Spot KC provides resources that support, advance and equip LGBTQ+ individuals to ensure sustainability and improvement in the community. The organization fights to provide a space for the marginalized in our community and move toward this goal by creating programs that give individuals an opportunity to advance in this world. Our Spot focuses on identifying innovative ways to provide safe, supportive, affirming and culturally informed services and resources to uplift and empower the LGBTQ+ community in the Kansas City area. The signature program Lion House provides stable housing and a safe haven to homeless LGBTQ youth (highlighted in KSHB story here). In another level of coordination, Starzette Palmer, the Executive Director serves as the President of the Board of Directors for the KC Pride Community Alliance.
