KC Current Releases Renderings Showcasing KC Current Stadium Supporter Section

The Kansas City Current released new renderings to the general public today showing off the KC Current Stadium Supporter section. Supporters got a sneak peek of what it will look like during halftime of the Current’s 1-0 victory over the North Carolina Courage on Saturday at home.

KC Current Stadium is the first stadium in the world purpose-built stadium for a women’s professional sports team. As details in the stadium continue to be finalized, these latest renderings provide a feel for what the Supporter Section will be like in the new stadium. These renderings of the Supporter Section represent a collaboration between the Blue Crew, Undertow and Current.

KC CURRENT STADIUM – SUPPORTER STANDS
KC Current Supporters will have priority views of the pitch in dedicated seating along the south end of the stands. With convenient access from the main entry and steps away from a dedicated amenity space, the Supporter Section will capture the raucous energy of the fans with a place to prominently hang banners and lead chants. With the first row less than 15' from the pitch and the last row about 50' from the pitch, the Supporters will anchor the matchday experience at the stadium.  

KC CURRENT STADIUM – SUPPORTER BAR AREA
Designed with ultimate flexibility in mind, Supporters of the KC Current have a dedicated outdoor space that is entirely their own - just steps away from the Supporter Section at the south end of the KC Current Stadium. With an overhead shade structure, multiple dedicated food and beverage offerings and a variety of ways to gather, the Supporter amenity space will support the energy, culture and pride of KC Current fans from day one.

The deadline for KC Current fans to become part of history is only two days away. Fans have until Wednesday, June 7 to place a membership deposit on KCCurrentStadium.com, which secures a fan’s place in line to select a seat for their 2024 season ticket membership at KC Current Stadium. The club expects demand to exceed capacity in the new KC Current Stadium, so fans will need to place a membership deposit to claim their spot in line.
