KANSAS CITY (May 24, 2022) — The Kansas City Current has announced that Amber Cox has stepped down from her role as chief operating officer with the organization. Cox joined the Current in February 2021.
Allison Howard, the club’s newly-appointed President, will assume oversight of all business operations.
“Amber played an important role in the Current’s inaugural season,” said Angie Long, Co-Owner of the Current. “We appreciate her efforts and wish her the best in her future endeavors.”
“I want to thank Chris and Angie Long, Brittany Mahomes and the entire Current organization for giving me the opportunity to assist in building a club from the ground up,” said Cox. “It’s been an unforgettable 15 months.”
