Kansas City Current set to open new Team Store at CPKC Stadium

The Kansas City Current have announced plans to open the first retail shop exclusively for an NWSL team at CPKC Stadium. The Official Team Store of the Kansas City Current will provide a wide assortment of licensed products, team kits and stadium exclusives for the Current and CPKC Stadium.

“CPKC Stadium will serve as a hub for entertainment and community engagement in Kansas City. The new Current team store will enhance the overall experience as fans immerse themselves in this dynamic retail space,” said Current president Raven Jemison. “Our goal is to redefine the fan shopping experience with a focus on elevated team fashion and apparel.”

Situated on the north side of CPKC Plaza at CPKC Stadium and set to open in March, the two-story Kansas City Current Team Store will be fans’ one-stop-shop for the newest and most fashionable KC Current merchandise. Featuring two stories of unique merchandise, the store’s top floor will house a fan’s most coveted item, the complete collection of the Kansas City Current’s new 2024 match day kits and a scarf wall where fans will be able to find their favorite KC Current scarf. 

Kits With a Purpose
The Current recently announced a multi-year agreement with United Way of Greater Kansas City as the club’s new front-of-kit partner. A portion of all kit sales will benefit United Way organizations.

Kit Customization
Shoppers will have the ability to get up close and personal with the intricate designs and details featured in the 2024 kit collection. A kit customization station will allow fans the ability to personalize each kit with their favorite KC Current player or their own name on the back of the kit.

Convergence of Sports and Fashion
At the core of this new team store is a commitment to providing Current fans with exclusive, elevated styles that showcase the brand in a fashion-forward manner. Curated collections include top-tier local favorites such as Charlie Hustle, Made Mobb, Nickel & Suede, Sandlot Goods, and Cherry Co as well as world-renowned brands like Nike and Holderness & Bourne. The KC Current Team Store will offer fans a unique selection not found anywhere else. These partnerships provide Current fans unparalleled access to limited-edition items, bridging the gap between sports and fashion.

The east exterior of the store will feature a locker system for fans to securely pick up online orders through the contactless locker system on game days. In addition to being open on match days, the store will also be open with free on-site parking available on non-match days.

The club will have more announcements regarding the CPKC Stadium experience in the coming weeks on Teal Tuesdays. Fans are encouraged to celebrate all things KC Current with the team – and to wear teal – as the story of CPKC Stadium continues to come to life.

CPKC Stadium is the first soccer stadium purpose-built for a professional women’s soccer team. In all aspects of the fan experience, CPKC Stadium will have a focus on inclusivity and sustainability, providing an entertaining and modern atmosphere for fans that develops a passion and loyalty for KC Current and the stadium. A limited number of single-game tickets for 2024 regular season matches will go on sale to Current Club members this week. Current Club members get priority access to 2024 single match tickets and allows fans to add their names to the wait list for future season ticket availability.
