Today, the Kansas City Current is giving fans a first look inside the Pitch Club, an exclusive premium space inside the first stadium purpose-built for a professional women’s soccer team. The Pitch Club will feature a rotating chef-driven menu from Megan and Colby Garrelts of Rye KC and a custom-made craft cocktail list.
“The premium design and amenities showcase the best of Kansas City,” said KC Current co-owner Angie Long. “Its decor is inspired by our city’s heritage and the food and beverage offering is led by James Beard award winning chefs Colby and Megan Garrelts. We can’t wait to spend time with everyone in this special space.”
Inspired by Kansas City’s 1920s art-deco architecture and the energy of an authentic dining car, the Pitch Club will be the premier fan experience in the new downtown stadium. The space offers a connection to the past by honoring the local history of Kansas City. The Pitch Club was inspired by a re-imagined heritage depiction of Union Station, featuring a walkthrough of local Kansas City history and a timeline of how far the game of soccer has come for women.
Guests will have an unparalleled matchday view, featuring behind-the-scenes access and an exclusive look into the raw moments through the eyes of the players with close proximity to the pitch.
Tickets in the Pitch Club are extremely limited. Current Season Ticket Members should contact their season ticket representative for more information. Others who are interested can visit KCCurrentStadium.com to learn more and place a deposit.
