Kansas City Current midfielders Desiree Scott and Chloe Logarzo will represent on the world stage with the Canadian and Australian National Teams during the upcoming FIFA International window. Both players will leave following the Current’s final regular season match Saturday and return in time for the club’s first playoff appearance.

Canada will travel to Jerez, Spain for a couple of friendlies. Scott and her Canadian teammates will face Argentina Oct. 6, then take on Morocco Oct. 10. Scott is a veteran of Canada Soccer, having represented her country at the U-16, U-19 and senior levels. Scott earned her first international cap in the 2010 Cyprus Cup. She has played in three world cups and three Olympic tournaments. She is one of only three players to win consecutive Olympic medals for Canada, bronze in 2012 and 2016 and gold in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.
Chloe Logarzo
Australia is also headed to Europe for a pair of friendlies. The Matildas will play South Africa in Kingston, England Oct. 8 before traveling to face the Danes in Viborg, Denmark Oct. 11. This is the second time this year Logarzo has been called to represent her home country after suffering a torn ACL in international action last September. Making her senior debut with the Matildas in 2013, Logarzo has featured for Australia in the 2019 FIFA World Cup along with the 2016 and 2020 Tokyo Olympics.
