FIFA, the world’s governing body for soccer, announced today the shortlist for The Best FIFA Football Awards™, including The Best Women’s Player. Newly signed midfielder Debinha was one of 14 players from around the globe nominated for this prestigious award.
Debinha had a successful 2022, both for club and country. For Brazil, she played in 17 matches and scored seven goals, including the winning tally against Colombia in the Copa America final. For the NWSL she featured in 18 games for the North Carolina Courage and scored a career-high 12 goals and four assists.
