Kansas City Current Defender Hanna Glas Named to Sweden 2025 Euro Qualifying Roster

Kansas City Current defender Hanna Glas will join Sweden’s two match qualifying campaign for the 2025 UEFA European Women's Championship. Glas has earned more than 50 caps for Sweden since 2017.

Sweden will match up against France July 12 but cannot clinch a spot in the top two of the group until the team’s final qualifying match against England July 16. After rehabilitation from a 2022 ACL injury, Glas is healthy and ready to help bring her team through to qualify for the 2025 Women’s Euro hosted by Switzerland. Glas was previously a part of Sweden’s third place 2019 FIFA World Cup squad and runner up finish in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.

Sweden is second for all-time Euro wins going into the 2025 tournament, and the team has made it through the group stage in the tournament since 1995.
