Kansas City Current announces partnership with 21c Museum Hotel Kansas City

The Kansas City Current announced a luxury hotel partnership with 21c Museum Hotel Kansas City for the 2024 season. 21c Kansas City includes a 120-room boutique hotel, contemporary art museum and The Savoy restaurant, named the Best Historic Restaurant in America in 2023 by the Historic Hotels of America Association.

Located less than two miles from CPKC Stadium at Berkley Riverfront Park, near the River Market in downtown Kansas City, the property offers over 8,000 square feet of exhibition space featuring rotating, curated exhibitions of contemporary art free of charge, 7 days a week. 21c Kansas City has 19 suites including the rooftop 21c Suite with expansive views of downtown. To further amplify the partnership, 21c Museum Hotel Kansas City staff will sport KC Current attire every matchday.

The Savoy, led by Executive Chef Eric Michael, offers a dining experience with deep ties to the Kansas City community. The menu features seasonal ingredients and products from local farmers, distilleries, and family-owned vineyards.

It’s only fitting that the upcoming art exhibit featured at 21c in 2024 is “The Future Is Female”. This exhibition illuminates the struggle for equality and inclusion that still persists and focuses primarily on the work of artists influenced by feminism. Art will be a prominent part of CPKC Stadium’s identity and 21c’s Area Director of Museum Operations, Jori Cheville, will participate on the KC Current Art Committee.

As an Official Partner of the Kansas City Current, 21c Kansas City will also receive LED field board and stadium video board signage.
