Kansas City Current announces Amigoni Urban Winery as next partner in CPKC Stadium

The Kansas City Current announced the team’s latest Teal Tuesday partner, Amigoni Urban Winery. The co-branded canned wine, packaged in cans with stunning designs exclusive to the KC Current will be sold throughout CPKC Stadium. Sustainability being key to the Current’s core values, the cans and packaging are aluminum and recyclable. Amigoni Urban Winery, is an award-winning winery, having won several international competitions including the San Francisco International Wine Competition double gold in 2020 Syrah winning in 2023.

Fans are invited to visit Amigoni for a Teal Tuesday Takeover today from 4-5 pm at Amigoni Urban Winery located 1505 Genessee St. Kansas City, MO 64102.

“Amigoni was intentional and purposeful about what was going into the wine at CPKC Stadium so fans can experience the best wine possible in a convenient way,” said Current President Raven Jemison. “We are excited for the Current brand to be deliberately represented in a unique and modern way with this beautifully crafted and co-branded wine. They have a quality product that aligns with the quality our club expects from all our partners.”

Amigoni varietals at CPKC Stadium will include Grigio (Pinot Grigio), Bolli (Sparkling Pinot Grigio), and Heartland (Cabernet Sauvignon). The co-branded canned wine will be sold in Grab-And-Go’s around the stadium and available in Pitch Club. Amigoni wine bottles will also be available in Pitch Club and to suite holders for purchase.

A partner of the Current since 2023, the local, family-founded urban winery is located within five miles of the stadium. Owners Michael and Kerry Amigoni are thrilled their co-branded canned wine will be served throughout CPKC Stadium.

Teal Tuesdays have celebrated new partnerships with Joe’s Kansas City, Billie’s Grocery, Yoli Tortilleria, Local Pig, Waldo Thai, Martin City Brewing Company, Room 39, Boulevard Brewing Co., Ruby Jean’s Juicery, High Hopes Ice Cream and now Amigoni coming to CPKC Stadium. The club will have more announcements regarding the bespoke culinary experience at the stadium in the coming weeks on Teal Tuesdays. Fans are encouraged to celebrate all things KC Current with the team – and to wear teal – as the story of CPKC Stadium continues to come to life.
