Adopt Piglet, our Mascot of the Match!

This season, KC Current is teaming up with local animal shelters in support of pet adoptions. For the third year, the club presents the Mascot of the Match campaign, spotlighting local animals ready for adoption.  

Our Mascot of the Match for KC Current vs. Pachuca on Saturday, July 27 in the NWSL x Liga MX Femenil Summer Cup is Piglet from The Animal Rescue Alliance!  

Adopt Piglet

This is Piglet. He was named this because he sounds just like a little pig when you pick him up. He's a silly boy with lots of energy and love to give. He loves to play with his dog siblings and the cats too - even though the cats aren't as into it as he is. He is still working on his puppy mouthiness so a home without small children would be best for him. Piglet is looking for an active family who's up for all sorts of adventures with him! The Animal Rescue Alliance is a non-profit 501c3, all volunteer group dedicated to helping homeless pets in the Greater Kansas City area. The organization is the result of an alliance between several rescuers in the Kansas City region who share the same goal of ending animal suffering and homelessness. Although They are foster home based, they also lease several kennels at a local boarding facility. It is the mission of The Animal Rescue Alliance to establish and maintain the ideals of Tara Nagel with regards to the treatment of homeless and unwanted animals.
