Adopt Lady, our Mascot of the Match!

This season, KC Current is teaming up with local animal shelters in support of pet adoptions. For the third year, the club presents the Mascot of the Match campaign, spotlighting local animals ready for adoption.  

Our Mascot of the Match for KC Current vs. San Diego Wave on Saturday, October 19 is Lady from KC Pet Project!

Adopt Lady

Lady is a sweet girl that likes to be around people. She loves her treats and so is very well behaved and motivated to learn new skills like 'stay'. She is laid back and happy to sleep most of the day if she gets a walk or good play session! She's not a fan of her crate, but is the perfect houseguest without one, happily sleeping on the couch if left to roam free. She does not chew anything up or show interest in objects around the house that are not hers. Lady is also house-trained and very snuggly.

She is tolerant of other dogs and coexists well. Meeting any potential canine siblings before going home would be best to ensure they're a good match! She is 56lbs and is spayed, micro-chipped as well as up to date on vaccines.

In her foster home, she gets a glowing report: "She is an absolute sweetheart who loves being around humans. She loves snuggling on the couch. She loves a pup cup and going out for adventures. When we took her to the local brewery everyone was lining up to pet her and she was so good with strangers. She loves going on walks and sniffing around the neighborhood and loves eating pizza crusts!"

She is currently being fostered by KC Current Assistant Coach, Freya Coombe! To ensure that she finds a forever home as quickly as possible, her ADOPTION FEE IS WAIVED!
