This season, KC Current is teaming up with local animal shelters in support of pet adoptions. For the third year, the club presents the Mascot of the Match campaign, spotlighting local animals ready for adoption.

Our Mascot of the Match for KC Current vs. Tigres UANL on Thursday, August 1 in the NWSL x Liga MX Femenil Summer Cup is Jasmine from Barkin' Dogs Rescue!  

Adopt Jasmine

Jasmine is a 5-year-old purebred Black tri–Australian Shepherd around 25 lbs. Jazzy is looking for a home that will give her plenty of attention and socialization. She is not immediately very social with new people and therefore will run. She is never aggressive, just timid until she gets to know you. Jazzy is great with other dogs, so that would be a plus in her new home. She is very independent but loves to run the yard with her foster parents. Definitely a secure fence yard. No small children as they frighten her. If you are looking for a lovable dog that just needs some patience as she grows in to the perfect family dog.

Barkin' Dogs Rescue is an organization specializing in adoption of Australian Shepherds and Border Collies. They provide services as an animal rescue, training and adoption organization. They work to find forever homes for all of our animals in our organization. Barkin' Dogs also provide assistance to prevent overpopulation through spay and neuter. They are based in Overland Park, KS.
