As part of the The Women’s Cup and the inaugural NWSL x Liga MX Femenil Summer Cup at CPKC Stadium, five different teams from four different continents will face off against one of the hottest women's soccer teams on the planet: KC Current.

ABOUT TEAMS

NWSL x Liga MX Femenil Summer Cup
Pachuca

  • Compete in Liga MX Femenil, Mexico's top professional women's soccer league.
  • Played in the first match in Liga MX Femenil history on July 28, 2017, against Pumas and won 3-0.
  • Has an exclusive training facility located within the large C.F. Pachuca training complex; and is the first training facility in Mexico built specifically for a women’s football team. 

Tigres UANL

  • Compete in Liga MX Femenil, Mexico's top professional women's soccer league.
  • One of only four clubs to win the Liga MX Femenil title
  • Liga MX Femenil winners 6 years in a row from 2018 – 2023
  • Played first ever international friendly between clubs from Liga MX and NWSL when it played against Houston Dash on October 5, 2019.
  • Holds the record of 6 league titles four more than the next club

Atlético de Madrid

  • Compete in Liga F, Spain's top professional women's soccer league.
  • Copa de la Reina Champions 2023. 

INAC Kobe Leonessa

  • Compete in the WE League, Japan's top professional women's soccer league.
  • 2021-2022 WE League Champions 

Mamelodi Sundowns FC

  • Mamelodi Sundowns Ladies F.C. competes in the SAFA Women's League, the top professional league in South Africa.
  • Mamelodi was the first football club from Southern Africa to represent CAF in FIFA Club World Cup, following their 2016 CAF Champions League success.
