Cooper was drafted by Kansas City as the 2nd overall pick in the 2023 NWSL Draft, starting in 17 matches and scoring three goals during her rookie season. The former Duke Blue Devil holds the record for the fastest goal in NWSL history, scoring only 22 seconds into Kansas City’s 2023 match against the Washington Spirit. In her two collegiate seasons, she was the ACC Freshman of the Year in 2021 and followed that up with the 2022 ACC Offensive Player of the Year.
