Began professional career with French side Paris Saint-Germain immediately after graduating high school in 2019. Appeared in 21 league games and nine Champions League games for the club. Cook was signed permanently by Seattle in 2021 and made 84 appearances for the club, totaling over 7,200 minutes played. Was named to the NWSL Best XI in 2021 and 2022 and was a finalist for NWSL Defensive Player of the Year in both seasons. Has represented the United States Women’s National Team at the U-17, U-20, U-23 and senior levels. Cook made her senior Women’s National Team debut in 2019 and has 29 total caps. In 2022 she led all players with 15 appearances, all starts, and 1,286 minutes played for the U.S. Women’s National Team. Acquired by Kansas City in midseason trade in 2024.
