We are teaming up with local animal shelters in support of pet adoptions. For the fourth year, the club presents the Mascot of the Match campaign, spotlighting local animals ready for adoption.
Our Mascot of the Match for KC Current vs. Houston Dash on Saturday, April 19 is Atlas from Great Plains SPCA!
According to his friends at the shelter, Atlas is quite the conversationalist. And really, what self-respecting Husky doesn't have an opinion about everything? From the type of toy he's offered to the kind of protein in his meals, he's sure to let you know exactly what he thinks.
Atlas is a 2-year-old, super sweet, and energetic boy with a loving and adventurous spirit. He’s incredibly handsome, playful, and full of personality. When he plays, he bounces around with joy and looks to his humans to make sure they’re having just as much fun as he is. He’s also one of the friendliest pups you’ll ever meet.
Atlas is looking for a home where he can be an active, loving member of the family. He’s ready to hike with you, cuddle up, and be your most loyal companion. If you’re searching for a true-blue best friend, Atlas just might be the perfect match.
Great Plains SPCA provides lifesaving services for approximately 6,800 animals annually in the greater Kansas City area. Great Plains SPCA exists because of the caring Kansas City community and generous donors. They offer a lifelong, full-circle approach for pets and their human companions with their three-pronged approach: prevention, adoption, retention.
Atlas is currently participating in the Pups For Parole Training Program in Cameron, Missouri. For more information, please contact jluce@greatplainsspca.org.
