And don't forget to vote for AD Franch, who has been nominated for the 2024 Lauren Holiday Impact Award presented by Nationwide! The nominee with the most fan votes at the end of October will receive $5,000 to donate to a charitable organization of their choice, as well as an additional $5,000 awarded to the nominee’s community partner.
One grand prize winner will be selected by a voting panel at the end of the season and will receive $30,000 to designate to a charitable organization of their choice.
Franch is partnering with WeCode KC, a community partner of the Current since the 2023 season. WeCode KC focuses on creating a more inclusive and equitable technology ecosystem, increasing access to technology education and industry-recognized credentials for students living in the urban core. “I’m proud to be providing a platform for the incredible work happening daily at WeCode KC. Giving youth the opportunities to be proficient in cybersecurity and technology is extremely important, and I am looking forward to seeing how WeCode continues to impact Kansas City”, said Franch.
